hi can anybody tell me if the phone lines are down in the davenport area, and was there much damage ,as my sister is out there and we havent had any contact thanks

The phone lines have been down in Davenport and aslo some places are without power. We have a place in Davenport and have yet to hear how it faired.

thanks,they are due to fly out back to the uk tuesday hopefully if the airport are open again fingers crossed

Depends where in Davenport they are .We didn't lose telephones on Lake Davenport Estates

my friend lives on Grosvenor, not far and I know she evacuated. I haven't heard the update though.

I spoke to my guests (by phone)
at Hampton Lakes across the road from Westridge earlier today and they have had power back again since yesterday around 9 pm.

I'm staying on Manors North, Westridge at the moment and our phones are down.

The villas seem to have survived though. I only saw a couple of pool screens lose a bit of netting.

We lost power at 6.45am yesterday and it came back on at 9pm
