Jeanne has turned into a hurricane and she has done a loop the loop and is now tracking back towards central Florida.
She is 465 miles East of Great Abaco Island, Bahamas and is tracking due West at 5mph with 105mph winds increasing in force and speed.
FRIDAY September 24th
She is now traveling at 7mph and has covered 105 miles further west towards Florida (now 360 miles East of Great Abaco Island, Bahamas)
She took a NWN track for a few hours and then turned back onto a direct west track that will have her land anywhere on the central area of Florida
SATURDAY UPDATE September 25th
This Girl has really picked up speed she is travelling at 14mph and will be 145 miles off Vero beach and winds increasing, now at 115mph
This means she will hit the coast sometime around Late tonight Florida time and hit the Orlando area around afternoon Sunday
Now unless there is a dramatic shift in pressure she will hit Florida somewhere north of Miami and then use the land to curl directly up Inland Central Florida
One good thing is that with speeds of 14mph she will pass quickly up Florida but that is a small consolation
BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES GUYS
