We flew PE last year and found that as we had the seats at the front we were disturbed by people going to the loo all night long. These seats were OK on the way out but on the return as the lights were low all you could see were lights from the loo all the time.

Would advise getting seats further towards rear of cabin if you are paying the extra.

This year we are going normal economy (only upgraded last year as we got a free child place). We have booked our seats through the website previously mentioned.

If you go and have a good look around the Virgin site you can see the lay out of all there planes. I think its under the heading of "Our Fleet". I booked a Virgin flight with the link at the top of this page and then rang Virgin and pre-booked our seats. We go the 2 seats right at the very back so we have no one behind us and hopefull not to many people walking back and forth keeping us awake! [msnscared]

Sometimes the journey can be pretty traumatic even with young kids, I figure she probably just wants to make sure it's comfortable!

Your right caroline. We have waited so long for this trip to Florida, and i just want everything to be as well as it can be. I have heard a lot of stuff about Virgin, good and bad, more good though, so we are going to go with them and make our own minds up. I am travelling with my hubby and daughter who will be 7 when we go. We are contemplating going PE, as we thought it would be a little extra something to our holiday, but also heard bad reports saying it isnt worth paying the extra. But again i think we might do,andse what its like, because i know if i dont do it, i will always wish i had. I really do get confused though when asking people about their experiences etc...[msnscared].

I would go Premium Economy, we do and although it is expensive I do think it's worth it most of the time.

If there are only 2 of you travelling and want a window seat then go for rows 61 - 64 as these are at the very back they are configured in 2's instead of 3's. The seats are 3/4/3 configuration in the rest of econonmy

Just be aware if you choose these seats you do get the 'tumble dryer effect' at the rear of any aircraft with wing mounted engines - not good if you get evn the slightest bit travel sick.[msnscared]

Thanks for the info lucy. There will be 3 of us travelling. I expect we WILL go Premium Economy aferall, i have been trying to find out as much as i can about Virgin and to be honest i am totally baffled [msnscared]. But, like i said previous we will go with them and make our own minds up.
So, if we do go PE is the configuration 2/3/2? Can you give me any info regarding booking certain seats when i actually book the flights??

    hi angelaB
we have been going to florida for a few years know and flew with many diffrent company we have found virgin to be the best. when we go i book it off the tv and they always give me virgin number for me to phone them as they will give you your set number over the phone. also when we are coming home virgin have a check in desk at down town disney for you to check in. sometimes there is a 5 dollers per person check with your tour op i know it may sound alot for a family but it is much easy. you dont have to get to the airport until one hour before and there is no queing up you just walk straight through[msnsmile2]
