A laugh to share!

Just had to share this with you all.

My sister has just returned from Florida with her husband and daughter.

My sister is not one for the big rides but enjoys everything else. She even managed Dudley Doo Right's Ripsaw Falls and Bluto. However, after getting wet for 3 days on the trot she'd had enough.

So, off they went to Busch Gardens for the day. Whilst there my brother-in-law and Louise wanted to go on the 'Tidal Wave', my sister said 'NO WAY' I've been soaking wet for the last few days, you go on your own. However, knowing there is usually a good observation point for most rides - yes you're all right - she thought she'd stand on the bridge to see them come down. It never crossed her mind that she was the only one there! So there she stood in her nice white cut off trousers and top with her matching bag and 'WHOOSH' - guess who got a soaking. She couldn't believe it. Now someone there must have got that on camcorder! and to make it worse, Peter and Louise came off more or less bone dry!

We saw a similar thing happen to a guy on our first ever visit to Orlando and Busch Gardens.

We'd just come off the ride and saw what happened to people when they go on the bridge, some people actually wanted to get drenched by the wave! (It was a very hot day).

Anyway, this guy with what looked like a very expensive camcorder wondered onto the bridge, assumingly to take a video of his family as they came down on the ride, it was too late to warn him (and I'm not 100% sure I would have done anyway, hehe) about the impending watery doom he was about to face and the guy got absolutely drenched ans had a very soggy piece of electronic equipment to try and dry out.

It was absolutely hilarious, he couldn't beleive it. The look on his face is burned into my memory forever!

On Karen's first visit i tried my level best to get her to stand on the bridge, but she saw right through my evil plan. Its always good for a laugh.

Got soaked on that bridge last year. Hot, thought I would cool down, but then found out that instead of getting a splashing you get drenched completely. Drowned rat was how I looked and to make matters more embarressing, my sister caught it all on her camcorder. Replayed in glorious technicolour more times than I would like, to everyone elses amusement.[V]
