    Hows this for a deal?

Last minute decision to go to Florida at Easter next year, as you can imagine a nightmare trying to get flights especially for 10 people[msnoo]
I tried the flightlink above but nothing doing.
I have been on the net all week trying to find something that doesn't cost a Kings Ransom or involve changing half a dozen times, no luck [msnsad]...until tonight, I couldn't believe my eyes[msneek]£253 +£60 tax with US Airways. I had to ring the agent to check....he didn't believe it either so he rang the airline...It was for real Only 5 seats available at that price and the next 5 at £333, but even so that is an average price of £293 +£60 tax per seat.
Now US airways might be a cattle truck I've no idea, but if it gets me there when I thought I wasn't going to be able to travel thats OK by me.
John and Roger will be getting my custom for car hire and park tickets so hopefully every one will be a happy bunny

Well done Liz, but won't it take you an awful long time to get there in a cattle truck....

It was thro' ebookers.com, flying from Gatwick. We travel the Monday before Easter 21/03/05 and return on the Weds afterwards 30/03/2005, 9 nights...better than nothing
I have never been at Easter before Tracey and I believe the Parks will be busy, but we are going to stay in our new villa as a family for the first time so that is the real novelty. Also this is the first family holiday for 5 years as my sons are now 20 and 23 and it's just not cool to holiday with Mum and Dad, but they are coming along and bringing their girlfriends[msnsmile]. we are all really excited....just like the Disney advert I won't be able to sleep!!!

Liz, that's a wonderful price. Are you going via Charlotte? USAirways are definitely not in the cattle truck class.

I've flown with them a few times and the seats and service are fine. The entertainment system is great - one of those stop and start systems, so that if you get up to go to the toilet you can stop your movie and start it again when you sit back down again.

Overall we've only had great experiences with this airline.

We've flown with US Airways a couple of times and we found them to be excellent. Lots of legroom. TV screens where you can choose which film you watch, stop it while you eat, and then continue when you're ready. We are flying with them next Easter too, and we paid an awful lot more than you I thought I was doing the right thing booking early!

That's a great price for the holiday. I would check with the agent if you can pre-book your seats as in the US flight we are going in December the plane has two economy cabins and the seat pitch in the forward cabin is 34" as opposed to 32" in the back (still equivalent to Virgin and BA). Check out www.seatguru.com to see seat plans and recommendations.

Thanks for the info on US airways I really imagined that for that sort of price I would be getting a real economy deal,so your comments make me even more delighted. The agent on the phone told me the deal was only put on today so I can't believe my luck that I spied it. It certainly wasn't there yeterday.
Yes Carla we are flying from Gatwick via Charlotte, the stopover is 1 hour 45 mins which I would imagine is just about OK, I've always flown direct before so don't really know.
