Well on current probablitie, this is more likely to hit the Carolinas than Florida. And only a tropical storm currently with 65 miles per hour maximum sustained winds. After what we have been through recently, even if it hit, it would be a breeze ( pun)

the Carolinas or out to sea would be my guess too.....

The Carolinas were my first guess for Ivan........ then Alabama or Texas or anywhere in between .......Labour day seems a bad time for FL.......

My thoughts exactly (as I am sure of some others). Tyson, you are spending too much time worrying about the weather which nobody can do anything about instead of making the best of your stay in Orlando. I know that your long planned holiday plans were disrupted by the hurricanes, but weather is something nobody can do anything about. There are many others, particularly the villa owners, who suffered a lot more than you by these freak weather conditions and did so in relative silence. So stop acting petulant, get on with it and enjoy yourself the best you can!

Please enjoy your holiday...at the moment Jeanne is not affecting anywhere near where you are (nor hopefully will it) and if you are getting paranoid about this it will upset your children who I am sure would prefer to see Mickey & co rather than having a lesson in "Hurricanes".

Have a look at this chart which shows all the September tropical storms since 1851, notice Florida is totally clear despite being surrounded, the chances of a holiday being affected must be so remote as to not warrant worrying about it.
