Events 16/9 to 22/9

We are in Orlando 16 Sept to 22 Sept and wondered if anyone knows of any local events we might go to?
I have looked at other websites and searched and found very little, but as I have always found more info here than elsewhere, thought I could ask 'the experts'.

Any bands, sporting events etc etc

You could check out Ticketmaster.com

You can enter your location and then choose the date range and type of event you are looking for. Should bring up a whole list of events, concerts, sports etc etc.

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but in view of the recent weather ravages, it might be wise to check if the events that you are interested in are on schedule.

Thanks everyone - I'm getting really excited now - I know we have to be very cautious yet because of Ivan, and I'm really trying to hide my childishness from my own kids in case things change, but I can't help it -I'm going Florida!!!!! And, I'll never forget our 20th wedding anniversary because of where we'll be!!!!

I had looked at ticketmaster site before - but thanks anyway for the suggestion Sunlover - it's nice of you to reply.
Nostromo - you're not pessimistic - just realistic and helping me keep restrained - just in case- thanks.
Stabard - thanks for the website info K92fm.com - had not checked that before - great info.

I won't sleep properly from now on - you might well see messages from me in the early hours of the morning up until Thursday - I'll be sat here with my hot chocolate.

once i have only 7 days to go before i go to florida i am on a mission and hardly sleep thinking of what i have to do before i go, i go to bed late and get up early. i am sure as soon as i am all set to go i will be on this website even more than i am now!
