    Hiring convertible

We are thinking of renting a convertible for the first 5 days of our holiday in November - does anyone know if there will be room for 2 suitcases in the boot/trunk?

    Hi Feathers,
We hired a convertable last year, it was a spyder I think. We only had 1 medium and 1 small suitcase and we had to put the small one on the back seat as the boot was very small. I beleive the sebring is a larger car so if you have the option go for this one. You can ask to take a look first, they will have no problem changing the car if it's too small. Good Luck.

We found the boot tiny when we hired a convertible. It was just big enough to fit our 2 small sports bags. I think you will be really struggling with 2 suitcases. Even small squishy holdalls that bend and twist a bit would probably not both fit.

The boots are shortened because of the storage area where the roof fits when it is down. The also tend to be very low because of the way the cars are styled.

I have had a sebring and a spyder, and the sebring is much larger. But we fitted two holdalls in there no problem, but like the others suggested use the back seat and put up the roof if you have to leave your car.

I upgraded last time and it cost me an extra $15 per day, not too bad and worth every penny, cent

At least we can get the suitcase to our condo, drop it off and then get on with our 'posing'!!!

Don't do what we did, whilst driving down to "freeway" to Miami, it started pelting down out of nowhere! Had to pull in to the side of the road through numerous lanes, few smiles as if to say "TOURISTS" (That was a Spider).
