All sounds very good advice. We will be preparing a box to put in a cupboard in our kitchen for emergency use only. Intended to put in batteries (for boombox radio so that you can keep ahead with news), candles, cigarette lighters, torches plus suitable batteries, ordinary tin opener and a pack of cards to while away hours.
