Not telling - It's a secret - can't have everyone buying them up!

    Oh All right then

It's a bit like a lime type cheesecake. A biscuity crumb base with a "supercalifrag etc"
lime flavoured filling. The magic ingredient seems to be condensed milk which gives it the very smooth creamy taste.Used to have a recipe for it, but still never came out quite like Publix one.

I want one - and I want it NOW!!!

Oh Crumbs([msneek])You've set me a hard task there Blott.
How am I gonna close the suitcase with all that lovely gooeey cream on the top.?? Do you think it will survive the tender care given by the airport luggage handlers?? Perhaps I could pack it in one of the spacesaver bags and suck the air out - well they do say that the vacuum stops things from creasing[msnscared]
It's a dangerous assignment - maybe I might have to eat the evidence for safety reasons!!!! [xx(]

Although I wonder if squashed key lime tastes the same as unsquashed? [msneek]

No... I've decided it wouldn't be the same squashed as the taste has a lot to do with the couple of inches your fork travels from the top of the scrummy, squishy key limey bit to the crumb casing base and just completes the eating experience! [msncry]

Not to worry, you can describe it to us in great detail when you come back and we can imagine... [msnsad]

Yes,but the Milk Tray man wasn't holding a publix KLP when he jumped!-Or we might have ALL got a bit!!

Never mind Blott - I could still bring you some warm garlic rolls with a tub of Alfredo sauce from The Olive Garden - if that's any good??

Bet that wakes John up!! I'm surprised he hasn't added them to this list[}]

When I had my case searched in Orland (leaving last May) I had to large bags of Lays in there. The lady doing the search was highly amused but as a chipaholic she understood!

Has to be Frito Lays every time.. For the fun of it! [msncool]

    Frozen Key Lime Pie

Now I can't wait to get back to try it. Have to buy 2 though so that we can eat one while waiting for the other to freeze.

Maple syrup in the US always tastes better than the UK equivalent; and I much prefer Skippy and JIF peanut butter to the UK varieties.

believe you can get skippy peanut butter in costo if you want me to get some and mail it!!

i managed to get 24 krispy kreme donuts from harrods to newcastle upon tyne as hand luggage so perhaps i could tackle key lime pie as hand lugage!
