I agree completely. Boggy Creek airboats do a great ride and every time I've ridden with them they've always found a couple of gators. It's great to see one out in the wild.
You know it makes sense ... [msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

can you do these things as a single person eg. join up with a group?
i've seen it off the 192 and thought about going

The air boat ride on the 192 near Wal-Mart is a self drive affair Tezz and i would imagine not much fun by yourself but perhaps you'd prefer that, I don't know?
Boggy Creek Airboats seat around 6 - 9 people and, whether you're alone or part of a group, it doesn't matter as you participate as part of the whole boat as part of a 'team'.

i'm now assuming southport park is a different one than the one off 192!!
not want to be on my own, but is it awkward one person turning up and making up a group

Oh sorry, have I confused you? When you said the one off the 192, I assumed that you meant the one near Wal-Mart (which you can see from the 192) and is self drive.
Southport (not to be confused with the UK one and about as totally unlike it as you can possibly get!) is on Poinciana Boulevard. If you have a look at their website www.bcairboats.com you'll find a map (click on Locations) which is probably easier than having me trying to explain where it is and getting everyone confused!![]()

short answer is i thought they were the same one, the 192 ive seen on the right going to the train tracks at kissimmee, is probably nr walmart as you say
but have not been to the entrance so didnt know were it was
have not seen the southport one signposted from 192 so will have to keep a lookout for it
reason for posting was i thought i had heard that single people couldnt go on these and it was difficult to join a group
have never been on one and will if possible![]()

Of course single people can go! They have bench seats so there's no problem. It's my mother's very favourite ride! Tip - the ticket link on here does discount ones!
It's Poinciana Boulevard you need to look out for which is at a traffic light junction on the 192 with RV World on one corner and Perkins on the other. You can try out Green Meadows Petting Farm, Horse World Riding Stables, the Nature Reserve (if you go at the weekend) or Disney's Wilderness Preserve (buggy ride on Sunday lunchtimes some of the year). Oh, there's also the new Wal-Mart at Poinciana if you want to give that a whirl!

Well, added this to my list of NEW things to do in Florida[8D]
Always fancied this myself but worried the boat would capsize and we would get eaten by a gator!![]()
