    Spider

This is a spider from a pool screen, the colours are excellent on the higher res photo, hope they turn out ok on this lower res post.

The spider was over 3 inch from toe to toe, so to speak.

Does anybody know what its called and wether its venomous??

    Regards,
    Neil & Kay

We have a similar picture taken a couple of years ago. Informed it was nothing more than a common garden spider. We had seen it at cape canaveral and had thought it eas something more exciting.

Looks quite impressive though even if it is "common".
