If your thinking of buying a Canon SLR Digital

Canon are about to release a new Digital SLR, Think the release date
is the end of this month. So if your thinking of buying one and can
wait a month or so, you should see the prices of their existing range
    drop

Shame I didnt know this oast week when I got mine

If you mean the Canon EOS 20D, sounds like a cracker. You're right, the price of its predecessor EOS 10D has already dropped by nearly £200 in the last month.

Thats the one, and stupid me hadnt been checking the mags for a while or else I might have
saved some money must admit the 20D sounds stunning, but to be honest a tad over my
    price range.

Mind you if the 10D drops I might get one of them as well, then at least I have a back up
    camera

I used to own the film version of Canon EOS-10 for over 10 years. One of the best cameras that I ever had. But when some of the newer Digicams came out, I liked the idea of having a single piece without the need to swap lenses often. So, I got the Minolta Dimage A1 last year with its 28-210 zoom and several other features. I am pleased with it.

I have 3 Canon eos 650's, I used to do Weddings etc, Used to end up with a different Lense
on each camera. With my job situation im thinking of going into it again just part time
    at first.

The thing for me is that I can use my existing lenses on the new canons so just need to
    buy the bodies

That depends on the make. Canon made sure that their new cameras would house their older lenses
but not all manufacturers have done this
