    Hi sun lovers

Hi there, have been reading the site with great interest, some great tips. We (mother, hubbie and a 12 and 14 yr old and myself) are renting a villa over Xmas and are getting really excited. Have booked Renaissance for lunch.
Can anybody make any suggestions over the best way to get car insurance. Can you get it for the US from current insurer in UK or best to do in with car rental? Car rental seems cheap, insurance seems very expensive.

    Hi Jocelyn,
Welcome aboard. I don't understand what car insurance you require. If you book from this site (click on Florida car hire at top of this page) all neccessary insurances are included in the price quoted. You will also find that the prices are very competitive.
Our guests Xmas 2002 went to the Renaissance and were delighted.

Most times when you book a car, you get the standard insurance included, as you have to have it.

    You can upgrade your insurance.

The link on this site offers very competitive car hire, with the insurance included.

Warm welcome to the forums Jocelyn. Just go with the flow and get the insurance with the car hire. You'll not be there long enough to make it worth taking your own CDW or stuff like that. [msnwink]
