    disney world books

    HI,
i'm on a bit of a book buying frenzy at the moment( see guide books in the Gulf section.) Just bought from Amazon 'Walt Disney World Trivia Book' by Louis A. Mongello: looks highly enjoyable for any Disney buffs and a way to keep the kids entertained on the plane for a while.

We have the unofficial guide and Birnbaums guide to Disney. Both are great reads, full of hints and tips.

Not really for the kids, but as we are the only kids in this family, its not really a problem.

I would recomment the unofficial guide for all visits.

I am trying to remember some of the books that we first used. I think if you looked for "undiscovered" or "natural" and Florida on an Amazon search you would find many "uncommon" tourist books.

I would agree with the 'Brit's Guide' or the 'Unnoficial Guide' for a first time visitor or for those interested in the theme parks, but for those that are looking for a wee bit more just start to pick an choose from many other guides.

The first times we went to Florida, we stayed with Friends and used their local knowledge,
which was brilliant, from then we got the odd book out of the library etc, and now years
later we have used this site.

With the internet now, there is a wealth of info on-line, and with the back up of sites
like this you cant go wrong

I think it might be an age thing Chrisj; I like buying books and having a proper read. There again i still fondly remember buying vinyl LP's and still believe you got more for your money than a CD.
Just bought a people carrier- this middle age thing is approaching rapidly[msncry]

I agree Andrew, In my line of work I always get the old fashioned 1000 page manual out, its easier to
find what I want rather than an online help which always gets me lost

But im not into people carriers yet, only on holidays
