I have booked for my holiday in October, 9 in our party, wanted to finish off the holiday with as little stress at the airport as possible.

The wifes driving home from Gatwick, so I will be able to have a drink in the guest house and plane!!

We've used the guest house twice as there never seems to be enough seating at Sanford. It was $25 each and included free snacks, two alcoholic drinks (over 21), free soft drinks, free internet access (3 pcs), a small cinema, quiet lounge with papers and magazines, soft play area for little ones and a bar dining area. You could order meals from a limited menu. We've always found it a great way to round off our holiday.

If I knew about it the last time I used Sanford then I would have booked it. Too many little devils hanging around with no parents at Sanford. We hated it. I know kids will be kids but I did not need a 10 year old shoving me out of the way so he could use MY money to play trhe arcade games.

    Hi
You don't have to book, just turn up and pay which is what we did. We found it accidently as we were looking for somewhere to sit away from all the noise. If you walk towards the bar and turn left, walk along the corridor which goes over the road and it is on your left - a complete haven of peace and tranquility. What children were in there were older and very polite, happy to watch the films or go on the internet.

We did not use it last time but would if we were travelling to sanford again. Although you do not have to book it is advisable as when busy you will be turned away.(So said the lady at the desk[msnsmile2])

Just to clarify a small point, the Guest House isn't anything to do with Travel City, it's owned and operated by Sanford Airport

And very good it is too, though it could do with a better range of "snacks" you can only eat so many dry pretzels and soft cookies!.
