We are Scottish as well, and live in a remote village in the Highlands - it is a beautiful rural area, quality of life is exceptional, family time is great, but especially since the millenium the pressure to have a "fantastic" Hogmany seems immense. If it doesn't live up to that "special experiance" of a few years ago then it is a failure.

This is one of the reasons Mrs MTP and myself have been looking for an alternative. Equally we are trying to escape the commercialism of Christmas (I know Florida may not seem the obvious choice!).

I think that since 2000 a lot of people have been looking for something wonderful.

What is important is that it matters to you - be you with people, or be alone, please try to be at Peace.
