LOL Chrizzy I think you are in the wrong hemisphere!
Just a bit, the Falklands are off the coast of Argentina not that far from Antartica.

your friend is probably not the only person to think the Falklands are off the coast of Scotland. I also hold my hands up to that one.[:I] Back in 1981 when I heard we were going to war with the Argentines over the Falklands I thought what on earth has a group of Scottish islands got to do with the Argies? And I bet I was not alone in thinking this was I? I think the reasoning behind this must be because they sound similar to Falkirk which is in Scotland.
