    Hi everyone

Supposed to be flying out tomorrow with Icelandair, arriving in MCO 20:45 hours. Orlando International say they are staying open but i have my doubts. Icelandair are totally oblivious, i phoned them this morning only to be told "What Hurricane" [msnoo]

Feeling very sad and unlucky, i am contemplating trying to transfer my tickets to a later date but i have a funny feeling they are not going to let me. Could be looking at spending a few unscheduled days in Iceland [msncry]

Kids are so excited i dont have the heart to tell them that their holiday could be ruined. Keeping toes, fingers and everything else crossed that it decides to turn away from Florida in the next 36 hours

    Heres hoping[msnsad]

Orlando is closed 3/4/5 Sept, your airline to allow you to change/rebook/refund your tickets. Orlando said it was staying open during Charley but it closed.

Right now there is a really beautiful satellite loop from one of the GOES satellites at: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA...-vis-loop.html

The area covered by Hurricane Frances looks about 2 or 3 times the area of the whole of Florida. How can something so beautiful be so destructive?

    Stay safe folks.

If you watch that sequence, it passes right over that tiny island wich I believe is San Salvodor or Cat island in the Bahamas......paparently not too bad there right now:

I guess I should have said as well that the satellite images update each hour so the sequence shown on the above link will change depending on when it is clicked.

There is a slightly different view from another GOES satellite at: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA...-vis-loop.html

Get it quick folks as the sunset is starting to creep across the images and it doesn't look half as good at night.
