    visa waiver - urgent

my boyfriend has been arrested before, but when he applied for a copy of his record to take to his interview at the embassy it stated he didnt have a record anymore.

Therefore he did not bother to get a visa. We are going in 3 weeks and im starting to stress....do you think he is going to have problems entering into the USA??

Not sure here it probably depends on what he did. If the record has been cleaned then I wouldn't think there would be a problem

No-one can tell you the answer to that! Who knows what information the US Immigration has?

I'm not sure you could enter on a visa waiver under those circumstances as you have to state on the form that you're complying with the conditions, which include being arrest and conviction free.

I'm surprised your boyfriend didn't continue with his visa application anyway so that everything was above board and this would have saved you both a lot of worry.
