Does anyone know how to rent the larger SUV's (Nissan Murano, Large pick-ups). We were told that the car hire companies can supply them but we cannot find any on the websites.
Much appreciated if anyone can help.

Hi everyone again, NO luck, websites still do not show Pick-ups like the ford F150 or the larger SUV's. Jeeps are too small, at home I drive a Navara, which is longer than most vans, and even then I struggle with the luggage. normally 8-10 large suitcases, especially coming back. We normally have the 12 seater van which is fine size wise, but we wanted something different this time.
So if anyone knows how to contact Alamo or any other hire firm Please PLease, let me know.

Hi Karen
I'm in Orlando right now with a rented 'Chevrolet Trail Blazer' from Alamo.
Good luck

Hi KJHewitt,
If the problem is mainly the luggage (presumably primarily from and to the airport) then couldn't you rent a SUV as standard and for those trips also hire a taxi to travel in tandem with the luggage? You could also try phoning the rental desk at the airport about a week in advance to see if there is anything they can do to make sure you get the car(lorry?) you want? I have always found with specific requests of this kind it is better to phone the location direct than a central call office.
Hello everyone,
My luggage, 3 children and other half fit in the 12 seaters without a problem, but when we were leaving MCO we saw pick-ups and some extra large SUV's that Alamo said they hire. I just wondered if anyone knew how to contact a Car hire firm over the net to show what they have available. The normal sites do not show them.
Trail Blazers are too small we had one a couple of years ago.
We were thinking more along the lines of a F150.
