Hi!
Has anyone been to the Sleuth Murder Mystery night, and if so, would you recommend it?
Thanks,

Yes definitely. We loved it, although dont expect to have to work too hard working out the mystery- it is a great laugh and very relaxed as the theatre we were in didnt seat many so has a high camaradarie feel with the other diners. The food is okay, nothing special but overall a great night out.

Hi,
Thanks for replying so fast! Can you tell me a little more of what the night consisits of, as we are probably thinking of going as a party of about 18.
Thanks,
Sarah

We really enjoyed it and one of our party got to join in with the show to play a 'bit' part. We shared a table with some really nice locals and I think that one of them solved the mystery (you get a small prize).
The food is better than at some shows but don't have the pasta if you can avoid it as the game hen is better and the rib ($3 extra) was over half a plateful of steak and very nice too! I won't tell you about the surprise dessert - as they say on their website, it's a surprise!

It's a really fun night. We've been a few times now and have seen a different show each time. You can either turn up and take pot luck which show you see and where you sit, or you can book in advance for a specific show. Tell them that there are 18 in your party and they will seat you all in the same area. The round tables only seat 8 people, maximum and any more would be a big squeeze. In some of the theatres they have round booths. You don't choose where you sit and when you go in, you are shown to your table.
The cast mingle with the guests as people are arriving. You may get a "part" in the play. The starters are sitting on the tables waiting for you and once everyone has arrived the show begins. After part one, you get your main course. After that you then have to work out, by asking questions (each table gets one question) "Whodunnit". They do enjoy taking the mick here, so beware. Finally when all questioning is done you get your surprise desert and then the "Murderer" is revealed. You'll have a great time.![]()
