We have an electric George Foreman BBQ that we use only as owners .We have stopped use of any hired gas BBQ from our M/C as after all it is OUR PROPERTY and why should they make money from guests in my home .After all I pay them to look after it not use it as an asset for profits .Might sound mean but we have the final say and up to now it is working .Who would pay for floor contamination or screen damage if a gas bbq was used and caused a problem.

I'm afraid we were told BBQ's were a Fire Hazard too, which is why we do not have oneThough a shame, as owners, we do have to think of the overhead of cleaning, maintaining the BBQ itself, as well as the damage and safety aspect to the pool deck from grease etc!!
We would avoid it I think[msneek]

Me too, the Fire Chief is not keen on bottled gas cylinders, full stop, inside the house, garage, or outside, so we opted for the brickette type outside the screen, on a small 6 slab hard standing that we made, they are better for cleaning as well, I am told, you just hose them out, we used to pay the mnagement company $40 a week to hire it, but thats really costly and guests objected to paying it, It is an item that is frequently aske for by them.
