Car Hire

Has anyone used uscarhire.co.uk for car rental in florida? I've been searching online and they are the cheapest I've found, but since they are new to me and sometimes cheapest isn't always the best I just wondered what other peoples opinions were.

I'd be collecting the car at Sanford Airport.

I'm sure I read last year of a car hire firm that folded and didn't pay the car rental companies and the customers were left out of pocket etc etc and so I would rather use reputable company.

As there is a commission link between them and this forum I assume quite a few people here have used them, would appreciate any feedback before I part with my hard earned cash.

Hi, Get your car from the link at the top, I have and found they were the cheapest by far plus the rates have dropped since we booked, good luck

Both websites belong to the forum owners, John & Roger, who provide an excellent and reliable customer service and, as you say, the rates are excellent and they have many hundreds of satisfied customers. We've arranged car rental through them for four visits.

You only pay £25 deposit, with the balance due 8 weeks before you collect the car so, unless you're travelling in the next eight weeks, you don't have to part with much cash when you book!

I've booked my car hire for September and Xmas through them, and Roger was VERY helpful even though I kept bugging him whilst he was moving. [msnembarrased]

Thanks everyone. I'd just like to add that we just rebate virtually all our comissions to the customer and do a huge volume of car hire bookings so are able to get the best rates from the car hire companies. The cars are with Dollar or Alamo and you will get sent a voucher before you travel for your peace of mind. In this case hopefully, cheapest is actually best [msnsmile2]

I always book through US Car Hire now and can fully recommend them. The good thing as well is that you have the choice between two of the big car hire companies in the US (Alamo and Dollar), so you know you are going to a reliable company.
