HI Andy,
You can find any information about the swim at
www.discoverycove.com.
I would also check ***. I have recently bought my tickets from here and they are cheaper than buying from discovery cove itself.
Have fun.
When are you going Andy? DC needs to be booked some time in advance usually, as the gate number is very limited........ If you're not going until next year, wait until I have done my trip report near the end of October....... We did DC a couple of years ago, and whilst the day was wonderful, I was disappointed with the swim.... This year we are going down to the Keys for 2 days 1 night, and included in that is a one-on-one swim with the dolphins...... The cost of the whole 2 days, including transport and swim, and airboat ride, and gater & snake farm visit, meals & 5* hotel is only a few pounds more than a day at DC! Obviously it could be a washout, but if you have time to wait for a report, it might be an option for you to consider.
DC IS a lovely day though, food is exceptional considering that they are catering for 1,000 people. The rays and snorkelling is great, as is the aviary. I just found the swim disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high.......
can not recommend it highly enough. Fantstic experiance great place even without the bonus of dolphins. Book it!![]()

We did that one as well , absolutely brilliant, two dolphins to two people, and you get to see a little bit more of Florida and Watch the sunset at the Keys I did an article about it for Online Florida Villas but I don't think it is on yet !

It may seem a little pricey, but book it just the same. It's a magical experience you'll never forget.![]()
We have hung back because of the price for a few yearsBut have decided to give it a go, as I have never heard anyone say a bd word about it
Friends have just come back, it was one of their highlights
Haven't been to DC but our eldest don dwam with the dolphins at a place in the keys and it was fantastic. The only regret that we have is that the camera we had at the time didn't enable us to take close up photos, so we only have ones with him in the distance with the dolphins. But it was a great experience and one he will always remember.[msnsmile2]

As I said at the time, the photo's alone were worth the price of the holiday.![]()
Do it! DC is fab. We went on November 7th 2001 (2 days before our wedding) and it was totally amazing. Our dolphin was called Capricorn and at the time he was the biggest and oldest dolphin they has there (dunno if that has changed now). He was also featured in a Jaws movie
(Jaws 3?). He was very impressive.
It's a lovely park, you are totally catered for, right down to fresh towels and even suncream. Food is great, staff are great, the dolphins are incredible. I loved it and once my daughter reaches 7 years old, we'll be taking her there.
