    Itinery

Would be really grateful if the non 'Virgin' visitors to Florida could pass a critical eye over our proposed Itinery. We are mum and dad and the two airs to our overdraft aged 10 and 7.
    Sunday - Arrive
    Monday - MK/MGM
    Tuesday Blizz Beach/MK
    Weds - Discovery Cove
    Thurs Rest Day by Pool
    Fri - Sea World
    Sat - Sea World/Wet n Wild
    Sun - Rest Day
    Mon - Universal/Epcot
    Tues - IOA
    Weds - Rest Day
Thurs Golf if i can get away with it otherwise the dreaded Retail Therapy
    Fri - MK
    Sat - Home

    Would appreciate your thoughts.

Also does anyone have a link to a thread about Disabled party members in the parks as i'm sure the ? has been posed before. In short our son is registered disabled due to Severe Epilepsy and learning difficulties. In the UK at Theme Parks we show his badge at the first aid centre and get wrist bands which allow us to Q at the ride exits as opposed to the main Q's due easier access for medical staff should he have a fit. Is it similar in Florida?

    Many thanks again

p.s. can't believe how excited i am getting wooo hooo fly out in less than 2 weeks lol

Whilst I have only visited the once, I wouldn't try to do more than one park a day, unless you decide to do Epcot one evening, as the fireworks are great! We did split a park with a water park on one day, but were exhausted! There is so much walking to do! MK is a day on it's own, as your offspring are quite young. MGM was a day for us too, as was Universal & IOA. We spent time in Seaworld after Discovery Cove though, and another whole day there - it's wonderful! May also be worth doing the "Retail therapy" earlier on in your visit, as you really don;t need to pack too much, as the clothes are so cheap out there, you can use what you buy! You can also think about any more expensive purchases you may want to make, and go back later on during your trip! (But then I am a woman!!! lol) Although we wanted rest days. we found that we did get bored, and ended up going somewhere in the afternoon anyway! There is so much to do it's a shame to miss it by the pool!

I can't help with the disabled part of your request, but this site does have a search function, and I know it has been mentioned before. Try that!

    Good luck and enjoy!

    Flippin eck Muzz3333,
Dont forget your trainers, youll need them with all that running around your planning. 5 parks in 3 days sounds a bit heavy to me, especially with two youngsters. We have a 6 year old downes syndrome son and would never be able to cover that much ground in 3 days. Have never had to enquire about disability concessions as he is quite able and luckily with no medical issues. We have heard that the blue badge is accepted at the parks for parking, but you should obtain a floridian one from the town hall ( i think ). Get yourself the brits guide to Orlando and Walt Disney World it has a holiday planner in the back which is quite useful. Have a good time in sunny Flo.

Id agree about the one park a day, we split them this year only because we saw most of the parks last year
and so went to specific areas and then onto another one.

Also, your first full day there, I would do a water park where you can relax a bit rather than walk
    round MK or MGM

Have to agree with everyone else that your itinery does seem a little jam packed. You'll need a holiday to get over your holiday![msnwink]
