Internet access in Villa?

Hi all I am off to the great US of A in 3 days and need some help please. I am taking my laptop and am sure I have read somewhere about free internet access I cant find the link so if any one could be kind enough to point me in the right direction it will be greatly appreciated.

Just a tip, don't download their software as some people have experienced problems with this, just set it up in OE or whatever email software or webmail you use.

You might also want to think about 'Budgetdialup.com' they work all over the U.S. and in 78 other countries. In the U.S. they have a 120 hour in 30 days for $9.95 option with a free trial startup. I would download there connection program because it gives you all the 'local' number to dial for any of the areas around Orlando. If you don't know what your local phone will be you don't want to try and find out when your there. I have been using there service for three years without a single problem.

I want to take my laptop too, so is it possible to ( i'm no expert so humour me) download the software to disc, then create a new user on the lap , then install it there?

No - go to http://www.access4free.com/Support/support.htm and follow the instructions from there. You do not need to download any software to get it working.

When you install to software it just gives you another ISP to dial when you get to the U.S. you make this one the default rather than your UK one. When you return just reverse the process.

If you use Outlook Express go to Tools/Options and click on the 'Connections' tab. In the middle you will see a 'change' button which you click on. In the centre of the newly display box you will find a new connection as well as your old 'default'. Do a single click on the new connection name then a single click on the 'Set Default' button.

I can vouch for the access 4 free software im still using aol. I cant find a password that i need for access 4 free. Help?

Places like Starbucks have wireless, we stayed in a villa that have had wireless and my husband set up a wirleess network for our lap tops so we could sit by the pool and keep up to date with our business and home security over the net etc!
