The posted internet topics are very interesting and I will probably go for the freebe on access4free website. A guest has just asked me if there was wireless in our villa. Anybody know a free wireless service or do I buy a router and just plug it in?

I have been searching for the cheapest way to connect to the internet from our villa. We have a phone service from Verizon. Has anybody used Verizon internet service?

Check when you are staying in your villa in Orlando.
Many owners have installed high speed broadband/wireless/computers as a service to our guests

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for reply. I understand the desktop computer and/or lab top require a wireless card if not already installed to receive from wirelss internet.

Do you know if access for free website provide a free wireless option?

Yes you need a wireless card (usually built into the laptop (Mac-Airport/PC-Centrino)). The computer we supply in our home has a wireless card as we no longer need cables!

I do not know of any provider that gives free wireless access. However, there are plenty of places you can pick up free wireless high speed internet

try this one for starters -

    Hi Chris,

    Thank you

I think I will try and buy a cheap desk top computer when next in Florida (September) and go for free serve internet. I was told you can buy a router and plug into the modem to get wireless.

    regards

    Peter

Yes. Just get a wireless router (Apple, Linksys, Belkin etc) and an ethernet cable, plug in power up and you are away.
You will need to configure your router from your laptop.

If you have any problems post again and we can direct you from afar!!

we are taking our laptop as the villa has internet access. We have been told to connect to AOL on the 30 day trial then cancel when we are finished. I got a disc from Tesco last week will this work in the US or should we do the access4 that was outlined above? Sorry if this is a stupid question but my husband is the computer buff and he is at work so I thought I would ask!!
