My Nationwide cards are looking more nervous by the minute!![]()
10 year high - $1.934. I remember it touching $2 very briefly in 1992 when I was in California. I didn't think I would see this sort of level again. Is this all good news for you lucky people who own property in Florida?
I am seriously considering paying the rental in full now for my next trip in April.

Just the opposite - if it is that high when you eventually sell and return money to UK.
I hope this trend holds out for some time. I am going to the US in May-June 2005 and have a lot of places to visit. This sort of exchange rate will save me a lot of quid.

Got to say I am tempted we don't go till July next year, i am going to try and resist a bit longer! they say it will go up a bit more, the post office has got it on at £1.85... for travellers cheques.
I used Travelex Online for my Dollars as they give the best rate i have found and you can pick them up at most UK Airports. Their current rate is $1.8745/£ which as i see is about 2cents better than anywhere else. They even give you a buy back guarantee so in situations like the moment where the pound is getting stronger when you want to change your dollars back it is done at the Exchange rate you bought them at!![]()

On Forex it has just broken the $1.94 mark and is still rising. On Sky news earlier they were saying if it does break the $2 barrier it could well go to $2.15 - £2.20. If it does I might buy a few.
got 1.93 from xe[msncool]
Hi Susan,
