    Hi Crizzy

Many thanks for your kind words. Oddly enough, even with the three small tornado's that appeared before Charley, we were never scared. It is an experience that i wouldnt like to repeat too soon but we still love Florida and even queueing for gas for an hour hasnt put us off....

    take care

Just went to pick up my son from his Girlfriends house and drove into Astor Cove and ohhhh what a bad horrible smell. I think all the sewage is backed up but I am sure will be fixed in no time.

An update on our 7 bed. Just got a quote to replace the pool cage and the work will be done in about 2 weeks time. In the meantime our next few guests are fully aware of the situation with the pool cage and have confirmed it will not spoil their enjoyment of the villa in any way [msnsmile2]

It's been a tough week trying to get all this sorted out from thousands of miles away and we are grateful for our guests for being so understanding in this difficult time.

Good to hear that you are getting things sorted out. I am really impressed that you will manage to get it done so quickly considering there must be a huge demand for this type of work at the moment.

Excuse me if i am being a bit thick [:I] but am i right in thinking that the screen is just there to keep the bugs out or does it serve other purposes?

    All the best

Thanks - I've had to pull every string I can find [msnwink]

The screen is just to keep the bugs out.

It not only keeps they bugs out but it also filters a certain percented of the suns rays (I cant remember the actual fiqure) so it helps keep the deck a bit cooler and you dont tan as fast!!! Well thats what I was told by a local anyway!
