It lists the pickup location for Sanford as 4185 S. Orlando Drive (17-92) - Sanford, FL 32773

and has the message below so it looks like it's off-site [msnsad]

For prompt and efficient service, customer must call rental office upon claiming luggage to notify Specialty of their arrival. The client may call on our toll-free line 1-888-874-0250 from any pay phone in the airport or proceed to the courtesy phone boards directly across from terminal. The courtesy shuttle van will pick up at the car rental pick up area outside baggage claim.

we've travelled with Travel City and hired a 12 seater from Specialty - their courtesy van picks you up and takes you to collect your car. From there it's fairly straightforward to reach the I4 from what I can remember, (it was about 6 years ago). Travel City have a desk at Sanford so you could always check with them.

    Tyson,
We hired with Specialty Hire in April (from Orlando MCO) There was a special toll free phone in MCO to ring them and they sent a shuttle bus (like Cas says). The shuttle drove us and our suitcases to their depot (in our case McCoy Road) and we got the car from there.
Other than being off site , the service was fine and the car was the same quality as you would get from Dollar or Alamo.

    have a great time.

Just think of it as off airport car hire; have a great vacation. Like the old days when they didn't have any offices on airport.

I used them a few years back from MCO. They were great - no queues and no difference in the vehicle at all.
