We'll be in Florida NYE and want to be 'where the action is'. We have annual passes for Universal and Seaworld and wondered if either of those parks do anything particularly spectacular. Plan is to go for a nice meal beforehand, sort of 8pmish. However, a club is out of the question as we will have our 5 year old with us, and two 20 year olds.
Any suggestions would be great.
I think, from previous years experience, if you want to celebrate NYE at any of the parks, you need to go early (about 10 am ish at the latest) as they often close the gates when they're full and they're really popular. So you need to base your whole day and evening's activities within one park.

I was going to book dine with Shamu for New Years Eve, does anyone know if you can still get in if you have dining reservations even though the park is normally full early in the mmorning

If you have a dining reservation, you should be fine but ask when you purchase your tickets to make absolutely sure.
