    Got to move quickly

A word of advice to anyone trying book a Florida holiday in high season - if you see something you like, go for it.

I 'lost' several villas as I tried to decide between them - although I'm very happy with the one I have booked.

I have been putting off booking Discovery Cove as I tried to decide between Easter Sunday and Easter Monday - well, the choice was taken away from me as Easter Sunday is now booked up! With 7 months to go!!! I got 5 of the last 7 spots available on their website (may be some available elsewhere?) for Easter Monday.

We normally book holidays really late but I'm learning my lesson the hard way with this holiday!

Easter dates are the absolute easiest dates to sell as a villa owner. They book out about a year and a half or more in advance for all our own villas.

About a fortnight ago I took a booking for Easter 2006 from a returning American guest who wanted next Easter and as it was booked decided to wait a year.

You're so right Rainyday. I booked Easter 2006 last April. The guest emailed to book as he was leaving my home!!

So folks, if you really like a home, then book it straight away, especially for Easter or any of the other major school holidays like July, August, October, Christmas/New Year and Thanksgiving. The Presidents Week/February half term also gets booked up way in advance too. It's the early bird that catches the worm and gets exactly what he/she wants!!
