When we were out in June we had horrendous storms and rain bouncing back up from the ground to waist hight and wicked thunder and lightening. You could not see 2 inches in front of you. We had to park up and wait it out. That was in Davenport itself, so imagining what it was like last night. We fly Thursday so hopefully it will be lovely and sunny and we shall still have a villa!

Hi CDV we have just heard that our home is OK in Four corners , Davenport, the villa acroos the road from us lost half the eaves , but we have have no damage, thank heavens phew !!

Dave,
Have not heard directly from our builders yet but surfing the net and constant Fox on the TV looks lke Polk Colk was not that damaged, a couple of tornados as a result of Charley. Oscecola, sorry cant spell that!!!! was one of the worse hit counties. 10 Counties took the brunt and that was the only County in our area listed. I take it that is where Kissimee is located?
