    Salad Cream

My favorite. I just paid $4 for one. Terrible. Now I know there's shipping costs and stuff, but why doesn't someone supply our brand of foods at much better prices? I paid $10 for a box of tea bags too! As for our chocolate bars, dont make me start.

Any places where I can affordly buy our little supplies?

The garage at our place sells all sorts of British things and so does some of the supermarkets.
It is all about supply and demand and I would pay lots and lots for things like brown sauce and Worcester sauce crisps. Mayonnaise girl myself so I am ok as they have it everywhere.

We don't bother with any "brit" food when we are over there. Seems to me it kind of defeats the object of going away if you don't eat the food the locals do

This is probably one of the item you can take with you next time you go out to Orlando.

I know what I'm bringing, although I probably can get it in duty free shop![msnwink]

I thought it's only fruit, veg and dairies you're not allowed to take in.

It is egg based therefore form of dairy product.

    Borrowed from Heinz:
"First made in 1914, major ingredients include vinegar, mustard, oil, egg yolk, cornflour, stabilisers and colouring. As mentioned before, Heinz Salad Cream comes in bottles, both glass and plastic, and these vary in size from around 200g up to the 2.59Kg catering size! It is available from all supermarket chains and most grocery shops / convenience markets. It costs approx £1.30 for a 425g squeezy bottle. Glass bottles are cheaper""..............oh get a life!
