ECV's

Hi all,

We will be renting an ECV (Electric scooter) for my father in law when we are in Florida. Just had a thought, will he be able to get onto the monorail and the ferry boat at MK with this or will we have to get a standard wheelchair?

Sorry can't answer your question, however I would be interested if you can tell me where you are renting your ECV and how much it costs? One of my relatives is going over next year and we think she might need some help getting round the parks.

Will your F-I-L need the ECV all the time you are there, as you can just hire one at most of the parks by the day as far as I am aware (I've not had to use one yet - but have a back and leg problem , so may have to investigate before long!! [msnsad])

When you go round the parks theres lots of folks using them so there must be access for them in most areas.

Kevin - my FIL will need it all of the time , we were given a website for scooter rentals by another forum member who recommended them. If you ever need the details just give me a shout. They are very reasonable price wise and will deliver and collect from your accomodation.[msnwink]
