First villa I ever rented was at Loma Vista and we were extremely happy with it and its location. You're close to Championgate which has a great Publix and golf course and access to I4. We usually went up Old Lake Wilson Road to 192 with all its attractions plus the quick way into Animal Kingdom up Sherberth Road (I think that's how you spell it). It never took more than 20 mins to the various Disney parks. You're also close to 27 which is being more and more developed with lots of restaurants and supermarkets.

    Thanks Linda
I'm sure I will enjoy it and it's good to know it's good for access to parks

In fact, you can use Sherberth Road as the access point for ALL the parks. AK is obvious at the end of it, but then you get on the Osceola Parkway going east, that takes you quickly to Buena Vista Drive & World Drive, with further easy access to all the Disney Parks, including the Water Parks.

We stayed in Loma Vista and found it nice and quiet after a busy day at the park. There was lots of space between the villas and we weren't overlooked.

The Publix at Champions Gate is great . There is a gas station too, where you can pick up milk and bread etc. Mcdonalds here too.

We used the I4 ( Junction 58) to get to disney parks - its only 1 junction up to the first disney exit (junction 55) ( which my children have named test track corner - if you know it you'll understand why).

We also developed a habit of everyone (exept the driver!) putting their hands up and screaming as we went under the champions gate arch. Slightly mad , but memeorable! Sums up orlando really!

I would definitely recommend using the I4 route, very quick to all the parks but it is junction 62 that you need for Disney not 55, that is the 27 exit travelling West towards Tampa and is the opposite direction than Disney. The junctions on the I4 are mileage indicators measured from Tampa so junction 58 where you enter to junction 62 where you exit is 4 miles. Such a clever but simple system and one I would love to see here.
