    Hi Caroline,

I think the website you are looking for is www.celebrationfl.com .It's the offical town of Celebration website and has lots of information including all the forthcoming events. It's on our favourites list as we love the place and never miss going at least once when we are out in Florida.

Thanks Jules I'm going to add it to my favourites so I don't lose it again[:I]

you say it was originally for natives only, has that changed and if so how are the property prices, sounds like its worth doing the lottery for to bring my children up in a place like that, a bit truman show like.

Baldwin Park is on Lake Baldwin about two miles outside Orlando. Architecture exactly the same as Celebration. David Weekley are building there and they built a lot of Celebration. See http://www.baldwinparkfl.com/web/flo...HOME_TYPE_ID=4
Independance is in Horizon West in West Orange County and Harmony is on 192 east on the stretch between St Cloud and Melbourne.

Celebration. Yes anyone can buy there now even foreigners though you can only rent long term so there arnt many people who have them as purely vacation homes. I do know of some Brits who bought as an investment. Prices are rising fast. When I bought my first home a year ago. I managed to get a 4 bed two storey colonial house for $320,000. that is the price of a small three bed bungalow or a town home now and a 4 b4d house of that type would cost you over $400,000. Anything with a pool is over $450,000 and a lot dont have pools and cost $500,000 and then you have to put a pool on. But the prices rise well and the homes sell really quickly so you really cant lose.
We just bought another home in the main village centre that was part of one of the first phases and we know that the owners doubled their money plus some in seven years.

We went to Celebration while we were over and had lunch and then looked round the two show homes for Artisan Park, they were very nice but how anyone would clean the windows from the downstairs living room was beyond us, the lady that was on duty said she didn't know how peple cleaned them but you could always make friends with a fireman!!!
Nice home if I win the lottery
