We like IHOP & I like it because the give a discount for 50+ but DENNY`S is good
[/quote]Denny's does senior discounts too so check the back of their menu! Most other eating places (including Ponderosa, etc) also do senior discounts but they don't always advertise them - ask!

Golden Corral cooks omlettes to order as part of the buffet price.
Our favourite - we tried ponderosa, sizzler and dennys to see if we preferred tham , but didn't.

Awwww, my poor cat is at the vets tonight, she's having an op tomorrow, and she's getting old, so I'm worried - wish she was here so I could dribble on her....... [msnsad]

Always liked Ponderosa and Sizzler but that was until we discovered Golden Corrall. K mart do a nice breakfast if you are in there shopping!! their bacon is better than the buffet restaurants, although no american bacon resembles english bacon! Shoneys is quite nice for breakfast as you can pick off a menu or go for a buffet.

    linda,
For the odd treat, don't forget the Disney Character Breakfasts in the parks, not cheap - but very different. In 1980 we were in the MK on my wife's birthday and started the day off with breakfast in the big victorian conservatory restaurant. That started the day really well!! We have also had breakfast in Animal Kingdom.

Oh, we had a character breakfast included with our 10 day tickets last time we visited. It's our sons birthday on the 13th October, and we had a MGM breakfast on his birthday! He was thrilled. They gave him a cake, and had the whole restaurant sing happy birthday to him, he also got a card signed by all the characters! As he left, they gave him a balloon, and told him to carry it at all times. We didn't understand why until we were approached by every Disney team member, wishing him happy birthday, and making him feel really special. Shame it didn't last, as he let go of the balloon, and being helium, off it went! Still, he had fun whilst it lasted! I am going to pop on another topic about birthday celebrations for kids, as it will be his birthday again when we go this year!
