Cooking is one of my hobbies - so I tend to spend a lot of time eating at the villa. To me it's part of the fun of the holiday - new ingredients etc.
Also - you can drink whilst you cook and eat.
One the occasions when I have eaten out, I cannot say that I have had many gastronomic experiences. I love seafood and our US cousins seem to cover everything in batter and fry the taste right out of it.
Mind you, I have had a few good breakfasts at Pondososa

Maybe it is just your luck, I would not go anywhere near the Ponderosa as I said earlier on this thread it gave me really bad food poisoning, I had cramps afterwards for days. I was literally crawling on the ground...honestly. Anywhere that has food lying around for ages is a bredding ground. I should have turned on my heels cause it looked run down when we went in. This was in 92 on I Drive so it might have changed but I would never give them our cash again![V]
