Just a change from the coming to Florida threads, I'm going the opposite way. It's been five years, so I am looking forward to a nice pint, live football, greasy chips, full breakfast, nice Indian curry, great humor (notice the American spelling), and the hussle and bussle of downtown. Can't wait.
Having said that, I get fed up after a week. Can't win them all.

Oh come on it's gloriously sunny down here in the Thames Valley. We got back from Florida on Sunday, and managed to last out until Friday before we had a curry! Much as I love Florida there is no place like home.

The Thames Valley nearly got washed away on tuesday in a tropical storm... Must have felt like you were still out there.[8D]
Only for half an hour! 34 degrees today ....... and I had to go an meet an old friend in Windsor, just what I didn't need.

When we were in Florida last year my little girl got talking to some girl scouts outside K mart. They said they had no fancy for theme parks and wanted to visit cold England and some castles. My little darling wanted to trade places with them so much.
