I'm sure all of us on here can appreciate and understand the way you're feeling, Margaret. Florida is a magical place and we all miss it dearly.
I was going to suggest the same thing. Use a phone (or even the hotel's PC) to check in online 24hrs before your flight, then print your boarding passes at the airport if needed.
FYI, you can save...
I've flown on BA World Traveller Plus (which is what they call premium economy). The difference in the seat is minimal, but I do like the folding footrest.
The benefits are the extra suitcase...
I thought they decided to discontinue the FP+ options for night time shows.
I was watching your other videos and spotted this tip. Thanks, it's a really good one!
Hello and welcome!
Hi all,
I have a black/anthracite-coloured Delonghi Portable AC unit for sale.
It comes complete with a remote control and a flexi-hose for venting. The hose has one clip broken and I've been...
Hello and welcome... This is where I started my Orlando journey all those years ago, and it still feels like home!
Enjoy!
The last time I used Alamo was a couple of years ago and I went straight to the garage after online check-in. The attendant at the garage was a little confused about it, but eventually, he pointed me...
I can't think of a better place to honeymoon than Orlando! Have a wonderful time! :)
I managed to squeeze an unearthly amount of stuff in the back of a Tahoe!
I don't think you'll have any problems. Just to be fair, I'd rotate the adults in the back and the front passenger seat...
If you're renting a car, be sure to check with the hire company if they're OK with a debit card. They tend to prefer credit cards.
Otherwise, yes, use the ATMs to withdraw larger amounts to avoid...
To those of you who owned cars - where did you store them? I'm assuming you didn't have games rooms set up in your garages and parked them in there?
Yes, as Vickk said, for a contact name in the US, 'UNKNOWN' is an acceptable answer.
I use the Tomtom app on my iPhone and I think it's excellent.
Yes, it costs a little more than some others (I think I paid £30 years a go) but the software is great and the maps are good.
Funny thing is, flying on BA to Orlando, I've never experienced a problem with overhead locker space (unlike the debacle that is domestic US flights!).
The thing I took from the announcement (I...
I've only ever had to change a car mid-rental because it was faulty and they were obviously fine with that. I've not (yet) done it because I didn't like the car I was given.
What a great idea! :)
I agree - if they are entering the country together, one form will suffice. The date of exit is irrelevant as the customs form is more interested in what is being brought into the US.
Mike's right...
I have the Weekday Select AP too and it definitely does include a merchandise discount. The thing it's missing is parking.
Anytime! :)
Yes, you either need the code on the back of the physical ticket, or a Disney reference number for print@home tickets.
That's one of the advantages of using the Park Tickets website (as shown on...
You're right, most don't have transponders in them. I've only seen Avis who use a transponder, the others use licence plate recognition AFAIK.
That shouldn't be a problem. The app has a checkbox to say whether the vehicle is a hire vehicle. If it is, you can enter the return date and time. After that elapses, you won't be charged any tolls....
