Publix do birthday cakes - worth looking here I would think.
It was my birthday while we were there last October and my daughter got me a cake from Walmart, they wrote on it while she waited and it was very nice.
Ice cream cake from Dairy Queen or Coldstone Creamery is just the best. My son has his birthday there every year and the Dairy queen one is great.

The Coldstone Creamery cake could be a winner if it's anywhere near as good as the ice creams!! [msnsmile2]
We've had birthday cakes from Publix and they do a very good selection.

Thanks Maureen. Do you know if they have a website?
The Coldstone Creamery cakes are definitely very good.
kids got us a gorgeous cake from walmart when we celebrated renewing our wedding vows in may..... it was so nice... wish i had a slice right now in fact!!!
Sorry Chris I do not have a web site for this shop but you could visit when you get there and they have cakes in display for you to see .
He was a chief at the Dorchester in London so he has plenty of experiance in all catering .

If it is called "The Fresh Bakery" a quick Google and the first link found would seem to suggest it has ceased trading. Not sure if it's the same place, though.

Am going in Sept and son will be 9 while there, like the sound of the ice-cream cakes, where are the dairy queen and/or coldstone creamery
Dairy Queen we use is in the Formosa Gardens shopping center where a lot of the restaurants are and Coldstone have a few around too but we have used one at the Water tower at the entrance to Celebration.
Enjoy
Alison
We're staying just by Formosa Gardens, so we'll use the DQ there, or the Publix at Orange Lake probably.
