hi,
Posner Park is located just south of crossing I27 and I4
The Loop is a collection of shops and restaurants situated off the Osceola Parkway, just before the John Young Parkway.
Posner Park can be found down Highway 27, just south of the Interstate 4.
The Loop is probably the better retail destination at the moment and it certainly has more dining options, however, we really like Posner Park as it is very handy and the shops never feel too crowded.
I agree with Euan. Both Posner Park and The Loop have their individual merits but we prefer Posner Park as it's never crowded and very handy. We tend to pop in and do some shopping on the way to Manny's for a nice meal.
We went to Posner park on a few occasions while we were there in June and it was very nice and was not crowded at all.
A vote for Posner from me too.
Nice to be able to drive up to each store.
I'm with Jim - Posner Park is so handy on the way back from Manny's- your too full to shop for food, but a stroll around Belk and Penney's helps you to walk your dinner off!

You can stroll after Manny's!!!![msneek][msneek][msnsmile2]
Posner Park is very handy if you are near the 27 in the Champions Gate area and always very quiet. Super Target and Belks are among my favourites in this area, but love the Loop and even more now they have an excellent T.J.Maxx had many a bargain from there when over in June, a couple of pairs of lovely sandals, bits for the villa and a two great Lacoste bath towels for next to nothing.

Didn't say I could stroll - meant that I NEED to stroll after Many's!:D Jean
The Loop has more shops at the moment I think and is developing fast.
Posner Park is due to be developed into Posner City and I believe a JC Penny may be there soon, if not now. There is plenty of land available.
The Loop can be reached via the Osceola Parkway but one end is a toll road, best approached from the John Young

There's been a JC Penney at Posner Park for years...at least the last 2 years I've been visiting regularly.
If you visit Posner Park try Camilles Sidewalk Cafe which is just on your left as you go into the shopping area-it is really nice for a light lunch .
There was an article in the press about 4 years ago outlining plans to expand Posner Park into one of the largest malls in central Florida but this expansion has been delayed until the issue of a sufficient water supply has been overcome by Polk County.
