DAY TICKETS v 14 DAY FLEXI ???

We want to visit Wet n Wild, Epcot and Universal Studios but really aren't sure what other attractions we want to go see, Busch gardens etc don't appeal to us at this stage (but who knows how we'll feel when we get there). Here's the question......

Because we don't intend this to be a 'theme park only' kind of trip, can anybody tell us whether it would be better to buy individual tickets or bulk buy. If bulk buy is the answer, is there anywhere you can 'customise' which parks you buy tickets for. All we've found so far are packages that include tickets for places we don't really want to go to.

If you check out the park tickets link above, they have a fun in the sun ticket package, that might well suit your needs.

florida4sun ....... thanks for that, just watching a couple of tickets on e-bay at the moment but may well get back to you in the near future.

Don't buy off ebay, I have weekly sob stories about that. Tickets with nothing on them (you have no way of telling until you try them at the entrance), tickets with an few days left but fingerprinted to the original owner. Tickets do not turn up. No valid agent will sell on ebay and it is illegal to resell Disney tickets.....For what you will actually save it is not worth the risk.

Couldn't agree more with Martin-I have trawled many, many sites looking for a "cheap" option but the truth is the best prices and service and reliability are on here.

Norrie, don't take the risk. You will not get a better deal than on here and believe me we tried twice. This time we didn't even bother spending hours trawling the net trying to get a cheaper price. I have no axe to grind either way, if I could have got cheaper elsewhere I would have. In addition to the price is the service Martin provides. You only have to see some of the previous postings of that Martin has sorted so speedily; someone who had a problem at Cirque de Soleil recently, on the door I think and Martin had it sorted (problem was Cirque not Martin!) Obviously you probably won't have a problem but it's nice to know the backup is there just in case.

I wouldn't buy from ebay either. There are plenty of places to buy tickets which will not rip you off. There would be nothing worse than turning up with invalid tickets which cost you money.

We like the 14 day flexi ticket but everyone is different. We like to pop in and out the parks and never stay even close to a full day so a smaller ticket would not suit our needs. Think about what sort of day you want to have and then buy what suits your needs. We have young children so a half day or just an evening suits us better. We spread our visits through the holiday instead of doing everything in a day.

Please remember that when you get to the gate at disney with your ticket they take a digital reading of your fingerprint so only you can use that ticket. Its a big risk to take.

Sorry just realised you meant the universal 14 day not disney but I guess the same idea applies. I think Universal and SeaWorld also check your fingerprints - i can't remember and it was only a month ago!!!

You cant go wrong with service and price buying from Martin at Orlando Park Tickets. There are all sorts of boothes selling theme park tickets once you get to Florida and these tickets are not worth the paper they are written on. They consist of tickets with odd days left that past guests have leftover and even if you manage to get some with days left on them they are still useless as tickets these days are "finger printed" at the gates.

Well what kind of luck is this? Coming across this forum has been a God send. Already the info we've received has (potentially) saved us hundreds.

We've done most of the Eastern hemisphere of the world but have only done a couple of trips to the USA in the past. We are absolute Florida virgins (am I allowed to say that on here). All this info is priceless. Thankyou one and all !!!!

Martin - looks like your reputation is pretty darn good so once we've sorted out what we want to do/where we want to go etc we'll be giving you a yell.

If/when we buy tickets from you - how does it work? Do you post them to the UK or to our Florida address, or do we collect them once we arrive ?????????

You could any one of the all three option, if you order enough in advance they can be delivered to your UK address, or it can be arranged to be delivered to your florida home for a small fee, as well as there is an office very local that you can pick them up as well. And as they are actual tickets and not vouchers like some others, no more queueing at the ticket sales to exchange you go straight to the turnstiles.

We always pick ours up at the office.

Easy to find and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

Plus its next to Wal-Mart so you can do some shopping at the same time.

We had ours posted here and I was impressed with the speed of the delivery.

We had our tickets posted to our UK address too, its very easy and reliable.
I wouldnt bother looking anywhere else.

Just following on ...... those tickets that were being offered on ebay ..... well my husband started asking the seller a few questions and suddenly they were withdrawn from the auction.

Thanks for alerting us to the possible problems - looks like you were right (not that we doubted you at all).
