New To The Site

Hi I'm new to the site. We are going to florida in July and are very excited. We have been before, a few years back but, as a package holiday staying at pop century on Disney, and did'nt really go off site. This time we have rented a villa and a car so a bit nervous. Also we have booked to do the twlight swim at dc, so would like to hear if anyone has done it. thanks

Hi Sally and welcome to the site. Friends of ours are currently staying in our villa and called the other day to thank us for "making " their holiday. Their previous Florida trip was based in a hotel and they said that they couldn't believe the difference staying in a villa has made. They love the space, the privacy, the flexibility of making their own meals/snacks, the private pool and that home from home feeling that it gives you, the list is never ending....... I think your nervousness will turn into pure delight once you experience this too[msnsmile] You have also found the number one place to help you with your Florida plans

Welcome to the forum Sally, I'm sure you and your family will have a wonderful time.

We have quite a few guests staying at our home this year that are first time villa renters too, they are all looking forward to staying in a home that has been designed and furnished with both luxury and comfort in mind and experiencing all the air-conditioned space that a private home has to offer you plus the freedom that goes with it.

Most of these guests have been to Florida before, but they are really enjoying the personal touch that we give to each guest with all the help and extra information we supply to make sure they have a wonderful holiday.

Still one of the best bits for me is when I get up in the morning, make myself a coffee and go and sit at the table by the pool and watch the sun come up.

Welcome to the forum. You will have a great time in a villa. It has so much more space than those hotel rooms. Having the car is a real bonus as you can go where you want. Take a trip to the coast and see those lovely beaches.

Hi thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome at the site. I have a few questions, the first one is this will be the first time me and my husband have ever drove abroad (let alone the USA), Where can we get a hand book on the rules over there. As someone has mentioned to me that even when the light is on red you can still turn right. The second question is we are flying with Virgin but have recently heard some negative things about this airline such as long delays and staff being rude. Is this true or just Gossip. Thank you for any help you can offer.
