Can I take a pot of sudocrem in the babys bag onto the plane? Its bigger than 100ml, and also his teething gel? Do I need a clear plastic bag?
I know they might make me taste his milk but i'm not sure if i'm allowed the other items I usually carry when out and about.

I doubt if they will allow over 100ml. Why not take some out of the jar/pot so you have enough for travelling, and put the rest in your suitcase.
You will need a clear plastic bag but they do usually have a supply at most airports.

No. Nothing over 100ml. All gels, creams and liquids in your hand luggage need to be in a resealable plastic bag and 100ml or less. Last week, at Gatwick, I was able to buy Sudocream at boots after security controls.

I went through Gatwick tonnight (Now in Amsterdam). Boots in South Terminal had loads of Sudocream

Or just decant enough for the flight into a small pot and put the rest in your suitcase.
you can get the tiny pots if that helps to take on board, but then a sample/speciman pot would hold some from your own tub
The ridiculous thing about the regulations is that you can't take any container capable of holding more than 100ml, so you can't have a half empty 200ml bottle of anything (because that could be used as a vessel to mix other substances together (in the eyes of the security regulation). BUT once through security you can then go and buy a 750 ml bottle of water and take that on board, so what is to stop you emptying that and using it to mix your dangerous substances?
Thanks guys, I came across a small sample size tub in a local shop this morning which will more than enough for two weeks, got some travel size wipes too [clap]

And unfortunately Carla once they are inplace the arthritis seems to set in and they are stuck fast for a while. :)
