Days of the week you rent your villas from?

Hi,
I am wondering which days of the week do you start to rent your villas from? does it have to be a certain day like a saturday? would any of you consider a week day like Wednesdays for 14 days etc....

I rent my villa from any day of the week and most villa owners will do this. Some owners will rent for shorter perods than 1 weeks also. This will sometimes depend on the time of year that you wish to book a villa. Put out some enquiries on the above sites and I'm sure you will get owners willing to rent over your required dates. The earlier you do this the larger choice of villa you'll have.

Some owners will take bookings starting any day of the week while others will take bookings from Saturday to Saturday etc. Your best bet is to make enquiries on the following sites with the dates that you require:

A lot of owners will rent from any day because we realise that a family from the UK can save a lot of money by taking mid-week rather than weekend flights. Also if we all booked Saturday to Saturday the cleaners would struggle to do all the villas on the same changeover day.

Most owners will rent any day, most people think its only saturday to saturday due to the diffrence of charter or scheduled flights. Many owners will book five days and over but if a guest wants shorter period then they may well face a cleaning fee which may be from $60-$100 depending on size of villa.

We too take bookings starting any day of the week as do many because of the surcharges at weekend, also it helps as said with keeping the same cleaners as they cant do all the homes on one day.

We take booking any day of the week and as with people from the UK they can do weekends or mid week so it is up to them .
People from USA have shorter vacations .

We have found a flights bookble on a Wednesday nearly £300 cheaper than a Saturday with that £300 thats my car hire!

Villa available from any day to any day. We are here for our customers!

I think you will find most owners on this site rent from any day. This is because we like to go regularly ourselves on the 'bargain' mid week flights [msnwink] Last year, my most popular start date for UK guests was a Thursday.

We like others also rent from any day of the week. We think this is especially important as a lot of the charters now don't always fly on a Saturday, so it gives guests a much wider option. I would guess that we get as many guests arriving on a different day as we get who arrive on a Saturday.

That's the benefit of renting a villa direct from the owner - you will get much more flexibility than booking a fixed package through a tour operator, plus much more room, higher standards, better value, I could go on ...........:)

We, too, rent from any day of the week and like to give our guests as much flexibility as possible to get the best flights. Seems like you have been offered a good deal, Ali, so I would definitely go for that option.

Most villas will let you arrive any day although there are some that just do weekends so best to check with the owner when you find the villas you like.

Hi Ali, Renting of villas any day of the week is preferred. It would be very hard for the cleaners to do a proper job if all change-overs were on the same day such as a Saturday. Glad to hear that you were able to find a great rate for your flights too! Many holiday makers we know stay a few days in Orlando to visit a few parks and then come to the Gulf Coast for about 10 days. The beaches of Englewood and the private villas in Rotonda which are surrounded by several golf courses makes a great package combination!
