Just to let anyone know who will be in Orlando shortly the date in which their children can visit Santa and have their picture taken etc. Below are the details for Mall at Millenia

Friday, November 18
6-7:30pm
Santa’s Spectacular Arrival and Tree Lighting

Children of all ages will be delighted by a special effects production show as the Millenia Santa magically appears at 6:45pm. This event will rejuvenate the spirit with an energetic DJ dance party, stage show, and a full cast of strolling performers guaranteed to make the entire family embrace the holiday season. The event brightly culminates with the exciting pyrotechnics-filled illumination of the Millenia Tree. Guests may end the evening by visiting with the Millenia Santa at his “Winter Pavilion” beginning at 7:30pm in Grand Court.

Friday, November 18 through Christmas Eve

The Millenia Santa will be available for visits beginning November 18th at 7:30pm. Guests can purchase a variety of unique treatments including candid photos, sepia hued black-and-whites in an assortment of sizes and CD-Rom images. Santa Photos will close shop at 12noon to prepare for his magical farewell.

Saturday, December 24
3pm
Santa’s Magical Departure

The season will culminate with a hefty tablespoon of memories and an original farewell at Santa’s Magical Departure on Christmas Eve at 3pm. Children of all ages will be in awe as they see Santa magically transported from Grand Court to The Mall at Millenia roof top for his return trip to the North Pole.

We visited Santa at The Florida Mall last year and that was good too, dates are usually similar but the Simon website does not have dates displayed yet.

That was really cute last year and the entertainment was good for the kids but it gets packed.

i know when we saw santa at Maceys (i think) in universal, hes so realistic looking i almost believed in him!![msnwink] well i know he was the real one!! just wished i was a kid again!!

I know what you mean Liesa, I always feel like a big kid at Christmas and having a child is a great excuse to join in the fun yourself!!![msnwink][msnwink]

Although I love Christmas in Florida, I still think its strange to see Father Christmas in shorts.:D

I agree, although he was fully dressed last year at Florida Mall. It is just as strange to see snow at Celebration!!

We took the children to see Santa at the Mall At Millennia last Christmas. He wears the normal Santa clothes but takes his coat off and has a holiday shirt (for this read "loud shirt") on underneath. The kids loved it and we got a lovely picture to keep to remind us of the visit by Santa [msnsmile2]

We saw Father Christmas in the Magic Kingdom in 2003 and hope to see him again there next month [8D]

We have a picture with our boys sitting on santas sleigh at Sea World and the Santa Claus was wearing shorts and a shirt similar to the one in Johns picture. It was cute though, must dig it out sometime.[msnsmile2]

If my memory is correct Santa also appears at Disney Marketplace. Time travel is amazing isn't it?[msnwink]
