I won't go on any, simulators make me sick so I have to sit with my eyes closed.
My son was 7 when he first went on the Duelling Dragons with his dad, it was the first time on a big coaster, he went through the gates and went straight back on the other side.[msnoo]
Daughter no.1 (age 12 at the time) always refused to go on coasters, her dad tricked her on going on Terror Tower, she was daft enough to do that twice. Lauren said if she could go on that then she could go on anything, and she does.[xx(]
Daughter no. 2 will go on ANYTHING even from when she was tiny.[:O]

I should not of gone on space mountain....because of my back.....I'm still glad I did.....but I was in pain for 6 months after......so maybe not that good an idea.........[msncry][msncry]
Back to the future [msncry]
Having been persuaded by our 3 lovely children that if I could do MIB then I'd love BTTF (insert sucker smiley here)
I agreed to try it, being 6'6" didn't help, and having my knees jammed against the car while it did it's thing was incredibly painfull (I have OA in both knees) Never Ever Again!!!
The only other ride I hated was .............. and please don't laugh ..................... really, please don't laugh ........................ promise?? ....................... cross your heart? ............................. OK ................... wait for it ................................... it's worth the wait .......................... honestly! .......................... it was the .............................. Flying Unicorn Kiddies Rollercoaster!:D
Stop laughing, you promised!!!!
I'm really not a wuss (honest!) but that has to have been the most unpleasand ride ever, it stopped and started time and again and went round at horrendous speed, a lot faster than I've ever seen it going since!, on the last lap as you come down towards the end they hit the brakes full on and we came to a very sudden stop, my knees of course got most of it and there were parents (and kids!) all asking what the hell was going on and people using what can only be describes as "inappropriate" language for a kiddies ride!.
I think this year I may risk another go on The Cat In The Hat if I'm feeling really brave :)
i dont do "rides" cos i'm a fatty and afraid of getting shown up by the seat not being big enough for me, or the shoulder harness not fitting! but last time i let them pursuade me into going on splash mountain! well it was lovely, but the last drop my butt lifted from the seat!!!!!!!! just for a split second i thought i was coming out!!![msnoo]
when i told my lot after they all just laughed and like my Steve says "theyre meant to thrill you not kill you"!!!
cant believe i'm sitting here at 10 to 5 watching florida on sky travel!! lots about Miami which is scaring me![msnscared]

ive visions of you walking along miami beach now in a thong half naked....ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! MUM!
russ go to bed!!!! now leave me to get my fix!!!!!!!NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok night hattie [msnembarrased]
Tower of Terror
Mummy
Duelling Dragons
or any of those that everyone else enjoys the most!
The owner of Blackpool funfair, who died recently aged about 180 ,went on ALL the new rides (great publicity for the place)so its a bit shameful.but I dont even like the kids roller coasters!
Rollercoasters are out for me...just don't like the sensation, but fine with every other type of ride. It's really a fear built up from when I was 14, and my family assure me that with all the harnesses you cannot fall out, but it's not just that, I don't see the point in me closing my eyes and clinging on for dear life, with an inaudible scream all the way round, just to get off and feel ill. Bags and belongings lady me.
The thing I dislike the most is other people telling you that you are soft or spoiling it for everyone else if you don't go on, especially when they pick on kids. I know there is an element of wanting your children to enjoy and not be scared, but I've come really close to saying something on a few occasions. I overheard one woman saying that if she has paid that much for a ticket for her child, she must go on everything...as tears streamed down her childs face[V]
Not found one ride yet I wish I hadn'y gone on, but then I am very cautious[msnembarrased]Example, after 10 years of going to Disney, I finally conceeded at took my daughter on Thunder Mountain[msnembarrased], we then went on it several times, even in the dark and it was fine[msnwink]However, the ride I want to do, but just can't bring myself to, is Tower of Terror! My daughter did it on her own this year( my brave 11 yr old, and brave me for letting her go on her own!!!), but she did nothing for my quest to go on, after she said she wouldn't do it again [msneek]. She has now completed ALL the rides in Disney parks I have avoided through fear( that includes Splash Mountain BTW!!)
Universal next April, plenty in there she needs to have a go on[msnwink]
I am the kind auntie who has to take my neices & nephew on all the really scarey rides as their parents both have vertigo. The one I found most unpleasant was Doctor Dooms Fear Fall at Universal - I was shaking when I came off the first time! Most unpleasant sensation but when we went back this year my nephew looked so sad that no-one would take him on I relented (how good an auntie is that?!!) Actually wasnt as bad second time! Maybe because we'd just come off 2 goes on Duelling Dragons - came off that & kids insisted we try the other ride AT THE FRONT! FAB!!!![clap]
All the rides in Florida are fantastic. I have never gone on a ride at any of the parks that I wished I hadn't afterwards. The only ride Neil wishes he had never gone on was the rollercoaster at the New York New York hotel in Vegas - he was a bit green for a while!!!!! LOL!!!!! Florida, do them all - Busch gardens probably had one of the scariest, the one where your legs dangle free - can't remember the name!!!
Absolutely. The VR Magic Carpet ride and Cyberspace Mountain - both at Disney Quest. Both made me sick. In fact, we have all agreed to give all of DQ a miss on future visits. I hate that crowded, claustrophobic atmosphere.[xx(]
Alien Encounter.
The first time we went on we didn't know what to expect and found it very scary.
Once we knew what to expect , well.
I love rides but I will never go on Scorpion at Busch Gardens again. I went on it and it jolted my head right back and through the gap in the seats. It [bad language filtered out] hurt
Not because I was scared but I wish I had never gone to see Tarzan Rocks in AK. A waste of 20 minutes.
Brizzle.
It's a Small World - Teeth are grinding even as I type it was just too painfull ever to suffer again.
Go on - fall over laughing[gun]
The Lazy River at Blizzard Beach. It made me feel seasick - all that bobbing along on the water - and by the end of it (I stayed on all the way round, thinking that I would soon feel better!) I had a dreadful migraine. [msnsad]
The ride at Busch is "Montu" I think you'll find - brilliant!! I love the legs dangling type of ride best of all!! Our faves are between Montu & duelling dragons.
"Its a small world after all...its a small world after all............its a small world after all.......its a small, small world!" Cumon!! I remember this from when I was little, I bet theres no other ride that could have stayed so nauseatingly similar for 30 years!!!! [msnwink]
Wath this space - I will let you know when we get back at the end of January. At this moment in time, I have every intention of trying all the white knuckle rides I come across, and am even toying with the idea of the Old Town ones (I think I may well wimp out there though)[msnscared][msneek][sick]

I am with you there.......I hate that ride.....unless I'm taking a newbie on it......then its fun........[}:)]
But it's so typically Disney and it's a classic.
Anyway it's closed at the moment so everyone get's a break until early next year.
'It's a small world after all'

Kracken. I'm not a roller coaster person but thought I would try to see if I did like them. Longest 2 minutes (or whatever it is) of my life. I thought I was going to die after the first big drop. Proved to myself that I did not like roller coasters. I'm happy with Spiderman, back to the future sort of thing. I get my enjoyment watching my husband and girls on the others. Anyway someone needs to hold the bags, drinks etc.

the words are forever in my mind....
[sick][sick][sick]
Its a world of laughter
A world of tears
Its a world of hopes
And a world of fears
Theres so much that we share
That its time we're aware
Its a small world after all
Its a small world after all
Its a small world after all
Its a small world after all
Its a small, small world
and on and on and on and on and on
There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to everyone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
Its a small world after all
Its a small world after all
Its a small world after all
Its a small world after all
Its a small, small world
and on and on and on and on and on
and on and on and on and on [gun][gun][gun][gun]
some one let me out of here[sick][sick][sick]
There isn't any ride I wish I hadn't gone on but there a few I will NEVER go on again. Body wars made me so sick when I got off that. I'm not good at simulators since then but still had to try Mission Space.........Big Mistake [sick]
i know what i am looking forward to, jurassic park, and tower of terror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1[msnoo][msnoo][msnscared][msnscared][msnscared][^][sick][sick][sick][sick][sick]
Mummy's Revenge at Universal. Because most of it is in the dark, you've got no idea what's coming next. Not keen on rides where you think you're going to fall out any second as there is only a lap bar holding you in!! Four of us went on - the two wives never stopped twisting about it for the rest of the day!![msneek][msnscared]
My friend and I would go on it again (He loved it - thought it was a highlight of his holiday) but for the sake of peace - won't be taking the wives!!
Thanks Chrizzy that blooming song will be going round and round in my head all evening now.:(:D
Didn't you just want to shot those dolls.:D[gun]
does any one know why its a small world is closed. are they redeveloping the land or are they giving the dolls a wash???[msnwink]

We hate it's a small world but when I took my 2 year old on his face was a picture.
My Mum can handle all the rollercoaster rides but you never guess what actually made her physically sick........
THE TEACUPS
She says she will never go on that again[msntongue]
well, we did Kraken in heavy rain and it was agony. The rain hit us full in the face so we had to keep our eyes shut virtually throughout the whole ride.
I agree with the thoughts on IASWorld. Disney at its sickliest.
john rocke.
MGMs Tower of Terror. Its almost 7 years ago now, but I have never forgotten the way I shook for 20 mins.afterwards. Never again. Chloe
No doubt Mission Space for me. NEVER again.
I don't mind any of the roller coaster, the ride I wished I had never rode was 'The Cat in the Hat', it left me feeling dizzy and sickly.
Without a shadow of a doubt it would be Dr Doom. It was awful, I hated every second of it.
I'm not a big fan of simulator type rides, they mess with your mind and leave me feeling nauseous, but if it's a good ride I'll do it.
I LOVE proper coasters, the bigger the better. Bring it on!!!!
